Summary: This small collection consists of photocopies of news articles, birth and marriage certificates, deeds, letters, genealogy and scanned copies of photographs relating to the Ramon Romero family of Tucson, Arizona and their descendants. It is organized by the families of the children of Feliciano Salazar Romero and Refugio Ruiz, the second generation of the Romero family. A photocopy of a Florence grocery store ledger includes family births recorded at the end. Photographs are of family members and include one image of an interior of the Tucson Gas plant on W. 5th Street, ca. 1925.

Biographical note: Tucson pioneer; Ramon Romero, the earliest person included in the Romero family genealogy, was born in Mexico between 1804 and 1811. He married his wife, Josefa Salazar, in 1840. Together they had four children, all born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. They moved to Tucson, Arizona sometime between 1856 and 1864, becoming one of the pioneer families of Tucson.
